Denny Johnson was a devoted member of the Coatesville NAACP. He understood the importance of education, and obtaining a sustainable skill. Denny was a graduate of Coatesville High School and Cheyney University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He was also a skilled carpenter known for his meticulous work skills.

In 2024, we named our ongoing scholarship program after Denny Johnson. We present scholarships annually to graduates continuing their education in college or trade school. We’ll update this page with information about how to apply each year.
