This year marks our 62nd Freedom Fund, a critical annual fundraiser run by NAACP Branches since 1953. Sponsorships fund our events like Black History Month, Juneteenth, and the Freedom Fund Banquet. Proceeds support our social programs and our community initiatives. This year’s Freedom Fund Banquet will be Sunday, October 5th, from 2-6pm at the Coatesville Country Club, 143 Reservoir Road, Coatesville.
We engage in political action, voter registration, political redress, social inclusion for women, human and civil rights, healthcare and education, labor and industry, and provision for economic security for all people of color and those who are disadvantaged.

Our theme this year is Building Over Obstacles Together Succesfully – and we’re thrilled to have Guest Speaker Lt. Col. Paige Thomas, USMC, Ret. to speak on this for us.

Our guest speaker is also the head of Just LEAP, an “extraordinary ecosystem that unites The LEAP with Paisley Foundation and Just Leap Engagements, LLC. Together, we strive to empower individuals and groups to overcome barriers and embrace their full potential. At the heart of our vision is Paisley, a girl with limb differences, who inspired the creation of this incredible initiative.” – (just-leap.org), and was recently covered by abc 7News.
